Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Utilize basic math skills to process sales and provide change to customers efficiently.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on the sales floor and restocking as necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote additional products through upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and visually appealing to attract customers.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a POS system for smooth transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
