Large Manufacturing company located in the Albion Michigan area is looking for a Human Resource Coordinator for our 450 person non-union facility
JOB DUTIES
- Human Resource Support –
Assist department with wellness program and tracking, recruiting and interviewing, training sessions, filing, audits, and reporting as needed.
Payroll – Run hourly payroll weekly, ensure overtime and absences are approved, enter all garnishments, deductions, pay increases, and personnel changes accurately and timely.
Process quarterly and yearly additional payrolls / bonuses as required.
Ensure all hourly absences have a corresponding absence slip signed by supervisor and employee.
Update employee attendance records and points daily according to handbook policy, keep HR manager informed when any employee reaches 3 points.
Track pay increases, referral bonuses, vacation, FMLA / STD leave, and calculate e-days monthly.
Assist Engineering, Operations, and Quality Departments –
Filing, recruiting and interview scheduling, setting up training, and special projects as needed.
