Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an industrial sewing machine to produce high-quality products according to specifications and standards. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Carry, push, and pull materials up to 35lbs.
- Thread machine, change needles and adjust tension, as required
- Use and understand basic measurements
- Perform sewing functions in a precise and timely manner
- Meet XFS quality and production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Works to production schedules set by Production Manager.
- Work to the Bill of Material (BOM) requirements and identify concerns.
- Operates sewing machine to surge, join, gather, hem, reinforce, decorate, or attach fasteners to supplied materials.
- Sets up machine to include threading, verifies correct tension, and stitches per inch.
- Communicate with the Production Manager concerns related to material or machines.
- Lubricate and clean machine as required.
- Verifies quality standards on finished components.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating an industrial sewing machine, at home or in a factory
- Ability to work in a safe manner, in a standing or seated position
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Ability to perform stand-up/seated sewing in a production facility environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
