POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Shipping Receiving Clerk
Reports to: Manager of Logistics and Customer Fulfillment
Position Summary:
Prepare invoices and required documentation for shipments in accordance with SOPS and cGMPs. Package, label, post weights and shipping charges and determine methods of shipment. Verify incoming shipments by comparing identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Receive goods and ensure they reach the appropriate location and are tracked in inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports XGen DJB’s Mission and Vision statement by adhering to the Code of Corporate Values and conforming to established performance expectations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
- Routine cleaning of the shipping area and warehouse storage areas in accordance with company SOP.
- Daily monitoring of environmental conditions in the warehouse area and specific environmental equipment
- Inventory Control
- Receipt and storage of incoming material in compliance with SOP # OP-4006-00
- Daily inventory counts and stock rotation of finished drug products
- Prepare invoices and required documentation for shipments
- Package, label, post weights and shipping charges and determine methods of shipment
- Verify incoming shipments by comparing identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Receive goods and ensure they reach the appropriate location and are track in inventory in accordance with company SOPs and cGMPs
- Work with customers, vendors and carriers to identify and resolve timing, condition or other issues
- Ensure that the appropriate shipping documentation is prepared and labeled as required for shipping
- Maintain inventory of stock and requisition additional shipping materials when necessary
- Provides continuous support of cGMP manufacturing, warehousing and distribution activities
- May assist and perform tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and constructions task in the upkeep of the facility, independently and or in support of the Facility Manager
- May perform safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the employees and visitors of the facility and to eliminate all hazards
- Learn and master new processes related to serialization. Serialization responsibilities include but are not limited to; inbound and outbound scanning of product being received or shipped, picking and/or packing of product per procedure.
- As needed, at the discretion of the Facilities Manager, provide facilities support. Discretionary facilities support may consist of, but not be limited to snow/ice removal and salting of walkways before, during or after a snow event, internal/external building inspection, preventative equipment maintenance, preventative safety maintenance, pest control support, general and specific warehouse cleaning, landscaping and general maintenance and small repairs throughout the facility
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off –shift hours and weekend assignments
- Performs other related duties as assigned and directed.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma
Training (licenses, programs, or certificates): OSHA Trained, HAZMAT Trained, Forklift Operator Qualification

Physical Requirements:
Possess sufficient manual dexterity to be able to bend, sit, stand and reach with hands and arms; Visual and auditory skills required, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus and ability to speak and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation: Position pays between $15.50 per hour and $17.40 per hour when a candidate is considered proficient.
