File Maintenance Analyst

Who are we looking for?

File Maintenance Analyst (FMA) will play a critical role in maintaining the static data in our XiFin billing software (Empower RCM). As a member of the Systems and Automation team, you will be integral in ensuring our customers’ Empower RCM systems are kept current to provide accurate, compliant, and efficient billing practices. By utilizing the knowledge of sound and compliant billing practices, you will complete requests for system updates in an efficient and timely manner. The FMA will be solution-oriented with the ability to effectively research issues and determine root cause and solution. The FMA will be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with team members. You will be able to communicate expert technical issues and solutions easily and effectively at all levels of the organization.

The most important capability of this role is communication. A successful candidate will be able to understand complex technical configurations and accommodate customer requests, at times requiring that clarifying questions be asked and answered.

What will you do?

• Maintain an understanding of the Empower RCM system functionality, including product updates
• Effectively evaluate and execute on requests for system updates in a timely and accurate manner
• Document questions and action taken accurately and professionally in our CRM system
• Review Industry and Regulatory data and assist in maintaining this data in our Empower RCM system
• Utilize system knowledge to identify solutions to RCM process challenges
• Provide support and assistance to team members to solve complex problems
• Ad hoc responsibilities in a fast-paced, adaptive environment

This is an onsite position at our office in Charleston, SC.

What education and experience do you need?

A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:

• High School Diploma required; advanced education and/or degree preferred
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with experience in radiology, pathology, or laboratory billing preferred
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with medical billing software
• An equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered

What does the position pay:

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $25.00-30.00 hourly compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
