Role Overview

This role is integral to the deployment and maintenance of AV and security systems, involving extensive physical work such as running and managing low-voltage cabling, punch-down connections, and conduit installation. The successful candidate will blend technical expertise with precision and excellent service standards in a hybrid role requiring remote coordination and hands-on fieldwork.

Essential Functions

• Conduct installations and configurations of AV systems and security cameras.
• Manage physically demanding tasks, including cable runs, cabling management, and setting up conduits.
• Troubleshoot AV and security equipment issues.
• Provide high-quality on-site support to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction.
• Adhere to guidelines and independently manage projects to meet critical deadlines.
• Maintain detailed records of technical setups and client communications.
• Handle stress effectively and deliver superior customer service during high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed based on project requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in IT fields like A , Net , or CCNA highly regarded.
• 2-4 years of experience in AV installations, security systems, or a similar technical role.
• Knowledge of Verkada, Crestron, Extron, and other platforms is desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking hardware, structured cabling systems, and technical schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and client interaction skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as part of installation processes.

A large portion of our work is for public works, which is paid at prevailing wage. There is high earning potential, $80,000 to $100,000 plus; however, the base rate is closer to $50,000 annually.
