Strong understanding of data onboarding, parsing, and field extraction in Splunk.
Knowledge of Splunk architecture and components (indexers, search heads, forwarders).
Experience with integrating Splunk with various data sources.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
Knowledge of performance optimization and capacity planning for Splunk.
Understanding of IT security concepts and monitoring practices.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging Splunk issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Onboard and configure data sources into Splunk.
Optimize searches and dashboards for performance and usability.
Implement and maintain Splunk knowledge objects (fields, lookups, event types, tags).

Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver data insights.
Develop scripts and automation tools for Splunk maintenance and data integration.
Ensure Splunk security and compliance with organizational policies.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for Splunk usage.
Stay updated on new Splunk features and capabilities.
