What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support position at Xonicwave?
IT Managed Services Company (Xonicwave) is seeking a full time IT desktop support specialist to assist with desktop support out of our Orange County location. We service strictly small to medium sized businesses throughout Southern California. Please ensure you meet all the requirements prior to applying. Requirements: (Your resume MUST clearly show these hands-on requirements within the last 12 months)
-Experience in a support capacity with small to medium sized businesses (10-500 user environments)
-Experience with various Backup Solutions in both configuring and administering
-Experience with Firewalls/VPN/SSL setup, configuration and administration
-Prior consulting experience on a level 1 and/or 2 basis to users
-Experience with Windows 11 desktop support and administration
-Excellent troubleshooting skills (network, printers, Wi-Fi, desktop, mobile)
-Experience with Mac OS
-Experience with softphones and video conferencing
-Excellent English communication and documentation skills
-Experience with administering Office365/Google Apps for business
-Experience supporting web based CRM and financial software applications
-Strong ability to multi-task when required
-Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Systems and Permissions
-Experience with mobile device setup and administration (iPhone and Droid)
-Reliable transportation and clean driving record
-Must live within Orange County. . .relocation is not an option
-Must be able to work independently at times and comfortable with a team environment
-Excellent communication and documentation skills
-Proactive mindset with thirst for constantly learning and growing

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
