The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Chemical Biological Center (CBC), a subordinate entity of the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC), is dedicated to advancing research, development, and life-cycle engineering support for defensive systems. Job Description: The General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS) Senior Consultant role is focused on optimizing financial operations, training, and reporting within the Army’s reimbursable operations. The consultant will be responsible for data analysis, technical support, and the development of best practices to enhance GFEBS applications and overall financial efficiency.
• Train employees, assist in developing job aides, troubleshoot issues and problems, and communicate with other Commands as the GFEBS SME
• Monitors financial systems to ensure funds are correctly coordinated without deficiencies and immediately corrects errors
• Provide GFEBS Helpdesk services to DEVCOM CBC to address and resolve system issues between the AFC and the DEVCOM CBC
• Performs analysis, evaluation, and oversight of all aspects of the functionality within GFEBS related to reimbursable operations.
• Provide cost-estimating services to reimbursable programs as they progress through the acquisition cycle
• Troubleshoot GFEBS-related issues and liaise with other commands as the GFEBS subject matter expert
• Solicit feedback from end-users to optimize support
• Provide fiscal year-end close and startup support
• Assist in coordinating critical tasks for GFEBS Master Data builds, Funds Center builds, and other financial processes
