Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the stockroom, ensuring inventory is well-managed, organized, and properly maintained. You will also lead a team of stockroom associates to achieve operational efficiency and meet company goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare paperwork for manufacturing orders that are picked daily
- Set up the priority pick list and work with the production team to fulfil all daily needs.
- Oversee the cycle count process and confirm all variances daily.
- Work with purchasing to ensure accurate receipt of material.
- Work through conflicts and ensure productive resolutions.
- Manages multiple projects effectively.
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are properly followed.
- Maintain a positive mental attitude toward changes, learning new procedures and instruments, and communicating those changes to the team.
- Monitor, maintain and enforce all safety guidelines.
- Accurately kit components for manufacturing orders
- Complete various inventory transactions in company MRP system/database
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
- Can work hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus Overtime when needed.
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English.
- Ability to maintain composure and productive communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft office, MRP or databases.
- Able to perform simple counting techniques and follow instructions.
- Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Basic Math skills required.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- 5 years of Materials/Inventory Control department experience.
- Leadership experience preferred.
