Summary:
Xponential Fitness is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for multiple desk responsibilities and report directly to the accounting manager/senior manager. We are looking for a professional with inherent leadership qualities, attention to detail, and willingness to want to grow and take on new desk responsibilities. The successful applicant will have a roll up their sleeve mentality, have strong open communication skills, and be a motivated team player. As the company continues to grow, we expect the individual in this role to demonstrate leadership qualities that will allow them to increase in seniority overtime. The Senior Accountant will be working within the Revenue Accounting Team. The team handles review of revenue contracts, billings, collections, cash applications, accounts receivable, inventory and cost of sales.
This position's scope could include, but not limited to performing balance sheet, revenue, expense, and account reconciliations, as well as supporting the accounts receivable processes. This position will require a high degree of analysis of transaction level activity to ensure financial statements are free of discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly financial close in accordance with the established close schedule while adhering to GAAP and the Company accounting policies
- Prepare journal entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
- Review revenue transactions and generate journal entries as necessary
- Record inventory related transactions and assist with other inventory related items
- Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financials during each close cycle
- Create and maintain accounting schedules that support accounting journal entries and transaction details
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the management’s attention
- Support quarterly & annual audit requests
- Other financial analysis and reporting as required

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 4 years’ experience in general / revenue accounting
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Big4 / external audit experience a plus
- CPA license or exam a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite a plus
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
