The Business Analyst: Must have knowledge of Fleet Operations and Maintenance, create, analyze and communicate data to effectively help in the overall maintenance of fleet. Help with project coordination and systems integrations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track and report asset performance and spending metrics to management on a weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure equipment preventive maintenance schedules are created and implemented for all equipment. Track PM’s at location level.
- Maintain asset management information system. Track all tractors, trailers, lift trucks and industrial assets by location, type, and repair status
- Ensure all systems used by XGS Operations are reconciled and updated. (Samsara, Dossier, AS400, Asset Master, Vendor Master, Next Process, Ryder, Penske)
- Assist in new vendor set ups to improve cost, quality of repair or timeliness of repair as needed
- Interface with Safety, HR, Operations personnel, and Vendors on equipment issues
- Rental Agreement Reconciliation – Ensure all rentals are properly accounted for in systems
- Update equipment in the system daily and assign to correct cost center
- Licensing, registration and titling – Ensure all units are licensed and titled properly and work with State / Locals to get proper licensing when required.
- Assist in the sale and purchase of XGS units with proper documentation.
- Help in the creation of operational SOP’s. regarding system use and requirements
- Other duties as assigned
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- Commercial tractor / trailer maintenance and operations knowledge required.
- Ability to analyze data using computer spreadsheets with understanding and use of formulas
- Ability to communicate clearly - oral and in writing
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
- AS400 and data entry experience a plus
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office machines.
- Clear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of telephone communication.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Climb stairs.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Correctable vision and hearing.
