Production Technician (Fuel Pump & Injector Production)
We have an immediate opening for a Production Technician to join our elite team, delivering world-class technology to both the professional motorsports industry and the automotive enthusiast market. This role is a mix of high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) and injector production work.
The Role
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing a variety of XDI products—primarily HPFPs and injectors—while ensuring that all production areas operate efficiently and effectively.
Essential Duties (include but are not limited to)
- Follow simple instructions and procedures
- Assemble, test, and repair XDI products.
- Fully understand and work from hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and general engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain proper documentation in alignment with XDI standards.
- Assemble and test high-pressure fuel pumps, injectors, and complete direct-injection (DI) fuel systems.
- Perform timely and effective maintenance on production tools and equipment.
- Package and ship parts as required.
- Operate a test bench in a standing position for prolonged periods.
Job Details
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week).
- Hours: Flexible work hours, overtime possible.
- Weekend Work: May be required during peak seasons.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two years of practical/relevant experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Strong hands-on mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic experience.
- Ability to perform precision work within close tolerances.
- Skilled in using fabrication tools and precision gauges.
- Experience with fuel systems or combustion engines is a plus (but not required).
- Proficiency in basic computer operation and the ability to read assembly drawings.
- Adaptable, with a keen desire to learn and grow alongside the company.
- Punctual, reliable, and ready to work.
- High level of motivation and passion for everything fast.
