Final Assembly Technician

Regular Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must be able to work overtime on Fridays)
Pay Rate: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour.
Weekly Perfect Attendance Bonus: $2.00 per hour additional for every hour worked up to 40 hours. $3.00 additional for every hour over 40 in addition to the overtime rate. (Must qualify for Attendance Bonus each week to receive bonus)
"XTPO": In addition to company provided paid time off, starting day one employee can earn up to 60 hours of paid leave within in a one-year period.
Referral Bonus: $500 referral bonus when someone you refer to apply is hired! (New employee must work at least 90 days for referee to receive $500 bonus, no limit on number of referrals!)
Position Summary: Final assembly and shipment of product to meet internal and external customer specifications.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Prepare for assembly by cleaning and inspecting the product, this process is achieved either visually or by using prints and instructions.
· Performs painting procedures on all welded areas.
· Assemble components as required by print and work instructions.
· Log, label and record completed product.
· Package for shipment as instructed.
· Continuous 5S practice within department.
· Conforms to all plant policies and procedures.
· Obeys and enforces all safety rules.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalency required.
· 1-3 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
· Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions.
· Adequate hand eye coordination and ability to work with small parts.
· Ability to pass a drug screen. XTP is a drug-free workplace.
Conditions and Equipment:
· Standard plant environment, climate controlled in the winter and temperature can exceed 90 degrees in the summer.
· Variety of hand tools including riveters, drills, air brush, nutsert guns, and tape measure.
