IT Support Technician

Job Summary: IT Support Technician with solid knowledge of SQL report writing, will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing reports from databases to support business decision-making and operational efficiency. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries to produce the needed information and presenting it in a digestible and meaningful format. IT Support Technician who is responsible, dependable, and committed to high quality work. You must be a goal-driven team player with solid organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. This position will report directly to the Manager of IT.

This position will provide technology infrastructure and application support to all employees and act as the initial point of contact and first line technical support in addressing/resolving questions concerning Information Technology issues in a manufacturing environment. As an IT support technician you will be required to respond to all support/repair calls while also providing a high degree of user satisfaction. You will be required to generate daily status logs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze data to determine the type of report required.

· Extract specific information from tables and databases for use in reports.

· Create detailed reports using SQL programming language.

· Use reporting tools and programs to develop reports.

· Communicate with clients or stakeholders to share reports and results.

· Prepare business reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

• Proactively provide services that meet or exceed our expectations and service levels.
• Support corporate applications, internal local and remote corporate servers, user desktops, remote and traveling users, e-mail, and system access a plus
• Troubleshoot and remediate application software issues.
• Assists IT Manager (IT Team members) with resolution of company system issues.
• Assist end users with resolution of hardware and software problems.
• Respond to production system problems promptly and in a professional manner.
• Maintain inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
• Assists with the installation and support of new software, hardware and other IT projects.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Some travel required.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as an SQL Report Writer or similar role.

· Solid knowledge of SQL, including creating views, tables, and stored procedures.

· Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and other reporting tools.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• You must have at least one to three years’ experience with computers, printers, servers, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, VoIP phone systems.
• Experience supporting a corporate network and systems.
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Experience with ERP(Expandable a plus) systems and Microsoft Power BI.
• Must have knowledge: Microsoft suite of products, Office, Exchange, Active Directory, and networking infrastructure.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral formats.
• Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work environment.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Thursday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vonore TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $21.28 - $23.23 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
