What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Xtrudex?
We are looking for a highly qualified self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing department. This individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives to help achieve our goals. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in content marketing and social media, then we want to work with you. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will collaborate directly with our Marketing Director in all stages of marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing Director in the development and implementation of each brand’s strategy including but not limited to: Xtrudex, Gear Tie, TRU Zip, Booe, and Bend & Hook.
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
- Assist with content creation including creative copy writing for social media/web, writing blog articles, scripts, photography, and video.
- Schedule, post, monitor, and engage with all social media platforms.
- Research and help coordinate with influencers to contribute to marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate/execute PR outreach and press releases for media placements aligned with brand objectives.
- Assist with coordinating/hosting promotional marketing events and trade shows.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing/brand management.
- Good understanding of the latest social media trends and techniques.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms – specifically Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Mail Chimp, and Hootsuite.
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Proven experience developing high quality digital content.
- Familiar with SEO and best practices.
- Strong work ethic with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding multitasking abilities.
- On camera experience a plus.
