We have built a skin care brand, FACTORFIVE Skincare, where we humanize
skincare™. Our therapeutic research is busy bringing biological medicine to the world. We have cell culture, manufacturing, bottling, filling and shipping operations all located in Chico, California. Our operational capabilities must be as innovative as our science. To that end, we are looking for an experienced and versatile Director of Operations who gets excited about creating a well-oiled machine. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing operational plans and managing people. They will be comfortable with day-to-day manufacturing and administrative activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. Oversee and Execute Manufacturing/Production Operations
- Build and manage all inventory levels in new inventory program
- Manage manufacturing schedule including which products to batch and when
- Manage vendor relationships
- Obtain packaging quotes
- Obtain shipping quotes for incoming deliveries
- Daily shipping to wholesaled and retail customers
- Obtain & maintain licensing, memberships & accounts
- Report month end inventory to accountant
- Manage code compliance with Health Dept, Dept of Water, Fire Dept etc.
- Receive & log product returns
- Directly manage the manufacturing/shipping team
Oversee / Manage Event Logistics
- Work across the sales, marketing and executive teams to coordinate attendance and display at certain trade show and seminar events.
- Work with the vendors of the events to secure best pricing and location.
- Coordinate the shipment of the booth, display product and marketing materials to the events.
- Be point of contact for all matters related to scheduling, set-up and logistics for event attendance.
Oversee Administrative Operations
- Assist CFO with:
- Purchasing
- Purchase office & manufacturing equipment & supplies
- Ensure invoices/receipts are uploaded into Hubdoc for Accountant
- Manage utilities (PGE, ATT, Verizon, Water, Pest Control, Trash etc)
- Collect and gain approval for employee purchases
- Arrange lunches for meetings
- Facilitate company procedures
- Substitute in Customer Service as needed
- Manage Employee Benefits programs, including anniversary celebrations
- Enter W9 & banking info into Quickbooks & Chase Banking for Rep 1099’s and payments
- Assist in semi-annual employee review process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
