Job Title: Infrastructure Level 2 Engineer (Hybrid Contract-to-Hire)

Position Overview
The Infrastructure Level 2 Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the strategic objectives of the business. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, including Salesforce administration, SaaS platform management, and hands-on experience with IT hardware and data management. The ideal candidate will excel in resolving technical issues, managing daily IT tasks, and contributing to continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
<>IT System Management- SaaS Platform Oversight:
- Manage and optimize the usage of SaaS platforms such as Salesforce.
- Ensure SaaS applications are administered effectively to meet departmental needs.
- Hardware Support:
- Address hardware issues, manage device setups, and perform regular system upgrades and maintenance.
- Software Installation and Management:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and updating of software applications.
- Ensure all tools and applications are available and functional for users.
- Network Support:
- Provide support for local area networking (LAN) issues, including VPN configurations and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
- Security Protocols:
- Manage antivirus software and monitor system security.
- Prevent, detect, and resolve security threats to maintain a secure IT environment.
- Help Desk Operations:
- Manage the IT help desk using Atera.
- Respond to support tickets and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support and guidance to users on core business applications.
- Conduct troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and onboarding for new employees.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with IT personnel to identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements.
- Vendor Relations:
- Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to ensure adequate support and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Project Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bachelor s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and SaaS platform management.
- Proven experience in managing IT hardware and data management.
- Certifications:
- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with ITSM tools such as Atera, BMC Helix/Remedy.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN configurations and LAN troubleshooting.
- Experience with antivirus software management and system security protocols.
- Competency in technical writing and creating SOPs, governance documents, and process flows.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) IT Service Management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Additional Skills:
- Experience with data center management and IT infrastructure design.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, JavaScript, and other scripting languages.
