About the Role
The Senior Director, Head of Project Management Office will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Y-mAbs corporate portfolio of programs and projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project management office function to ensure the successful delivery of key programs across the organization and in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Implement consistent project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure high performance with success indicators.
- Oversee the planning and execution of end-to-end projects e.g. drug development to commercialization, from early-stage research to regulatory approval and market launch. This role will also manage key programs and projects within corporate functions e.g. Finance.
- Provide senior leadership in managing project portfolios, ensuring optimal resource allocation and risk management.
- Be the liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across departments through effective collaboration across all departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee and facilitate discussions and decision-making processes for project direction, budgets, resource allocation and timelines.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
- Lead the resolution of project issues, providing solutions and adjustments to timelines or plans when necessary.
- Regularly update senior leadership and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices in compliance with relevant guidelines and laws (e.g., SEC, GDPR, GMP, GLP, FDA).
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in program/project management, including at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry managing the Project Management Office.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects through all stages of development (from R&D to commercialization).
- In-depth knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Advanced project management certification (PMP, Agile, or similar) preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
- Expertise in project management software and tools
This role will be based in Princeton, New Jersey with a hybrid working pattern and require travel to Copenhagen, Denmark.
