Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Director to lead our Engineering and Specialty Products Departments in achieving its mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, with a focus on strategic planning, business development, and operational management. The Director will be responsible for driving the organization forward, fostering a positive work environment, and overseeing all aspects of the organization.
General Duties:
Lead:
- Research, development and registration of regulated/chemical related products for US and international markets.
- Product development efforts for all fly control & chemically impregnated products.
- Ingredient procurement and contract negotiations.
Manage:
- GMP production of insecticide tag premixes and transportation to Cody production plant for molding and finish packaging.
- All non-tag insecticide products, including their production and warehousing.
Supervise the maintenance of all US and international, state, federal and international registrations.
Provide technical service support for insecticide products in all domestic and international markets.
Responsible for overall quality control of insecticide products including, but not limited to; master formulation specifications, contract manufacturers, purchasing, production and packaging activities from initiation through to final release of end-use products.
Budget management.
Supervision and motivation of 5 professional team members.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
· PHD or DVM Degree or 10 years related professional experience.
· Animal Health Product experience in cattle and equine industry, specifically fly control.
· Proven technical sales leadership and training.
· Experience in chemistry/plastics formulation.
· Proficient in Environmental Law compliance.
· Technical Sales Leadership.
· Project Management.
· Protocol Development.
· Willing to travel, including international, up to 20%.
