What You'll Do
Performs a variety of activities in support of Protective Force (PF) training at the Central Training Facility (CTF). Also, provide timely and accurate data (verbal, printed and electronic) for management, auditors and scheduling, such as reports, tables, graphs, milestone tracking, and projections based on requirements. Conduct job analyses, create & update curriculum, and perform other duties as assigned.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter data, retrieve data via reports and exports, validate training records using the PF Security Training Records (STRS) database, the Y-12 Learning Management System (LMS) and associated interfaces. Work with developers, instructors, and site personnel to record new training modules and revise existing modules, as needed. Enter information accurately (i.e., module data content, scores, dates, personnel data, descriptions, recertification intervals, requirements, etc.). Interface with instructors and site personnel to ensure accurate information is recorded or edited (i.e., training records, personnel, compliance, etc.). Complete Basic Instructor Training (BIT), Job Analysis Training (JA), Curriculum Development Training (CD). Create and maintain CTF lesson plans, computer-based training modules, and site-specific PowerPoints. Develop and maintain CAS/SAS curriculum (as needed). Perform functions as a department Training Officer/ Administrator for entries and edits, (i.e., assigning requirements, etc. in the Y-12 LMS). Manage PF personnel PF-specific training and compliance training components: Maintain master compliance book to include current curricula and the personnel training and compliance training matrix. Determine compliance training requirements by position and/or by person. Communicate and coordinate with sites’ points of contact to maintain accurate information on personnel and requirements. Update LMS data as needed. Maintain the PF Ammunition Database (track ammo received, transferred, and disposed) and provide reports as needed for auditors, management, and site armorers. Employee is tasked with meeting all obligations within given deadlines and if complications are identified, solutions are found, if possible and employed to complete assigned tasks. Provide training and guidance to others as needed, such as on-the job training (OJT), training compliance, deficiencies, and other processes. Perform administrative/clerical tasks as needed. Assist CTF staff with tasks such as filing, assembling books for classes and other clerical duties. Work with other sites Curriculum Developers to set up programs and spreadsheets for tracking OJT for those sites. Work with Protective Force (PF) Scheduling and Personnel Management to coordinate training conducted at the Central Training Facility (CTF) and assist with the fit-for-duty management.

Minimum Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required and 4 years of relevant work experience: administrative functions and/or database entry/operations
- OR Associate degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) or equivalent
- Able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance (non-HRP)
Preferred Job Requirements
- Requires skill in assembling, formatting, evaluating and analyzing data
- Able to interpret data and prepare summary reports for managerial and budget purposes
- Able to perform basic statistical and mathematical functions
