What You'll Do

  • Designs and implements a comprehensive Office and Administrative Services (O&AS) Organization to support Y-12
  • Plans, controls, and directs the activities of key O&AS operations, such as Administrative Support; Document, Information, and Records Management; Office Services; and/or space/facilities planning and management
  • Manages and provides direction to directly and functionally assigned (deployed) O&AS personnel across CNS
  • Ensures effective O&AS coordination between organizations
  • Provides recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team relative to administrative functions
  • Develops and monitors O&AS budgets. Reviews budgets and staffing plans with senior management. Monitors progress and takes corrective action as necessary

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of management experience.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Experience as an O&AS Manager at similar industrial facilities and/or plants
  • Experience managing complex O&AS operations at large industrial operating facilities
  • Senior management experience at Y-12

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.

This position may be categorized as a “designated position” identified by 10 C.F.R. Part 709, requiring successful completion of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation that may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
