Reports to: Site Director
Responsibilities
- Put away parts using an established bin labelling system.
- Assist in entering parts info into a computerized system, placing orders for parts, preparing P.O’s, and acquiring internal approvals.
- Contact suppliers to verify parts availability and pricing.
- Housekeeping in the parts area to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Recordkeeping and maintaining document and records for audit purposes.
- Assist in entering data in the work order system.
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.
Profile
- Highschool diploma or GED is required
- Valid forklift license is required
- Previous purchasing experience an asset
- Strong interpersonal/organizational and communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite of applications)
