What are the responsibilities and job description for the Promotions/Special Events Representative position at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists in the set-up, execution and breakdown of all on-site and off-site promotions and special events: to include but not limited to tournaments, drawings, VIP parties, and festivals.2. Maintains a detailed knowledge of all promotions and special events in order to effectively explain policies and procedures to customers.3. Works within a team to ensure that all items needed to carry out the promotion and/or special event are in the appropriate place in a timely manner.4. Responsible for adhering to established policies and procedures for each promotion.5. Issues appropriate prizes to guests.6. Performs on stage if necessary while utilizing a microphone for announcements for drawings and/or events.7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum one (1) year experience in customer service environment required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in the English language.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) preferred.
Must maintain good personal grooming habits and carry self in a professional business manner.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

☐ Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.
☐ Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
☒ No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.
