KEMET, a YAGEO company, is seeking a Production Technician in the Simpsonville, SC location.
Description:
This individual would be responsible for operating production line equipment. This individual must be able to learn to operate all equipment throughout the production line, and flexible enough to move to various machines within a single shift. Other functions would include trouble shooting equipment problems, assisting in the training of new operators, ordering and maintaining production supplies, processing designed experiments, and working with engineers to solve manufacturing issues.
Qualifications:
- Willing and able to work 3rd shift hours and be flexible to cover other shifts if needed.
- High mechanical aptitude and have experience repairing and troubleshooting equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Capable and experienced in working independently to a production schedule
- Excellent teamwork skills which include demonstrating a positive attitude, good work ethic and sense of urgency in completing tasks/projects (driven)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Education and Experience: Associates degree in technical field (preferred) or applicable experience. 5 years of related experience preferred.
