What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Yakima Athletic Club?
A Lifeguard's main responsibility is the safety for the patrons in designated area. Must be flexible for hours during week and weekend. Is open to new ideas from supervisor. Is responsible for cleanliness of pool and work area.
Qualifications:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification.
- Must have a CPR/AED certification for the professional rescuer.
- Applicants should expect to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights and weekends.
- Must be self sufficient, reliable and be able to handle multiple tasks and difficult people and situations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to membership.
Candidates for all positions at YVRC, Inc., must have successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgement, and display initiative and innovation on the job.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
