Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach various aspects of English language arts, including writing, reading comprehension, and literature analysis.
- Utilize the Chicago Manual Style for teaching writing conventions and citation practices.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student performance.
- Provide academic advising and support to students in their educational journey.
- Mentor students through tutoring sessions to enhance their understanding of course material.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.
- Engage in research to stay updated on best practices in teaching English.
Experience
