Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Urology Clinic team at Yale New Haven Health. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, education, and treatment, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Provide precepting and mentorship to new staff members, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, utilizing electronic medical records software.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in urology or ambulatory care.
- Valid State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse License and BLS certification required.
- Proficient in use of computer software, including electronic patient records.
- Able to utilize internet for literature searches regarding patient care.
