Job Description
The Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of radiologic procedures with proficiency in CT scanning and patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform radiologic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic services.
- Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D.
- Graduation from an ARRT-approved program in radiologic technology.
- One to two years of experience in a CT department preferred.
- Previous radiographic experience required.
- Must hold a current Connecticut State license in Radiography.
- BLS required.
- Must be ARRT registered and Computed Tomography (CT) certified.
