What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Services Associate position at Yale New Haven Health?
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care responsibilities as assigned, including identifying self to patients and explaining roles of care delivery team members
- Perform administrative tasks, such as sending/receiving patient medical records and abstracting new patient records into EPIC
- Assist with patient medical procedures as needed, maintaining patient autonomy, confidentiality, and dignity
Qualifications
- CPR certification preferred
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- EMR experience and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required
