Job Title: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
The Registered Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting patient care by assisting physicians with various responsibilities, including patient rooming, appointment scheduling, and clerical tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist physicians/providers with patient care
* Room patients
* Perform administrative responsibilities
* Send/receive patient medical records and abstract new patient records into EPIC
* Set up instruments and equipment according to department protocol
* May assist and/or perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed
Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program
* Certification/Registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred
* Minimum of 1 year private practice medical assistant experience preferred in a primary care or specialist office
* EMR experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required
