Responsible for guiding and coordinating the efforts of assigned project workgroups. Provides project coordination and administrative support for departmental functions. Works both collaboratively and independently to support the departmental and organizational needs.

Responsibilities
- 1. Coordinates and monitors project work plan and milestones to ensure timely completion and implementation. Manages and monitors project work plan and ensures that project milestones are met by the pre-determined completion date 1.1 Coordinates all project communication demonstrating timely, clear, appropriate communication through all mediums of written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders. 1 .2 Anticipates issues and works with the team to swiftly mitigate the impact of these issues on project plan and deadlines. 1 .3 Implements project work with relevant departments as assigned. 1 .4 Facilitates collaboration and effective decision-making between all project stakeholders. Prepares reports, analyses, and presentations utilizing all Microsoft Office software products , including Excel and Power Point. 1 .5 Facilitates the various Nurse Residency Program and other transition to practice programs deliverables as assigned; coordinates meeting arrangements, prepares and distributes invoices, contracts and other communications. 1 .6 Performs various departmental duties as assigned by the supervisor to enhance the efficient operation of the department, including but not limited to: plans nurse resident cohort schedules across YNHHS; administers surveys, evaluates results and presents to leadership and stakeholders; collaborates with the NRP team to establish and monitor annual goals with metrics; build key surveys, create excel and PowerPoint (PPT) presentations to support survey results; establish Practice Transition Accreditation project plan with schedule and milestones in collaboration with the Nurse Residency (NRP) coordinator; monitor nurse resident projects and presentations; and coordinates program support.
- 2. 2. Supports the department in planning. 2 .1 Actively participates in planning, staff and departmental meetings. 2 .2 Coordinates departmental events. 2 .3 Provides administrative support and performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Associate's degree in healthcare or a business related field required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to organize resources and establish priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment. Knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical workflow, operating systems, policies and procedures. Ability to organize, lead and hold self and others accountable. Ability to delegate effectively. Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and consultants at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of project management software tools as well as strong desktop tool usage including Word , Excel, and PowerPoint.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Requires occasional travel throughout the YNHHS, between campuses and other delivery networks to perform project duties and attend meetings.
