Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures at a technical level, ensuring high-quality radiographs through proper techniques and patient positioning.
The ideal candidate is mentally flexible when dealing with coworkers, students, radiologists, and other healthcare workers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Consistently producing diagnostic quality radiographs by using proper technical factors and patient positioning.
- Operating all equipment properly and efficiently, and under safe radiation guidelines.
- Meeting performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff and self-development as outlined in performance review.
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.
Requirements:
A high school graduate or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited radiology technology program and three months of on-the-job experience preferred.
