Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate highly complex radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Interview patients and review available clinical data to identify potential contradictions for procedures.
- Perform various clerical duties, including verification of information and exams performed.
- Attend safety training programs and demonstrate knowledge of general safety, departmental safety, and job-related hazards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technology or registry eligibility within three months of hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
