Yamamoto Fine Blanking Engineering, Inc. (YFB) is a tier-two/tier-three manufacturer in the automotive industry, specializing in pressure plates for brake systems and other components. Established in 1995, YFB is a joint venture between Yamamoto Seisakusho and Marubeni-Itochu Steel America. Our components are installed on new vehicles made in North America, Europe, and South America, exclusively dealing with OEM and/or OES components.
This is a full-time on-site Industrial Maintenance Technician role located in Louisville, KY. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the efficient operation of machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system troubleshooting skills
- Experience in performing preventive maintenance on industrial machinery
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus
- Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field
