The Role:
The Business Services College Intern will support the HR, Member Services, Executive Support and Public Relations departments with administrative tasks, projects, and gain valuable experience in entry-level business operations. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a college student to learn about business operations and develop essential skills for their career.
Key Responsibilities:
The internship will rotate between the Member Services, Human Resources, Executive Support, and Public Relations functions.
For illustrative purposes, the objectives of the Human Resources rotation are below:
Administrative Support:
- Assist with data entry and maintain accurate employee records.
- Organize and manage personnel files and ensure confidentiality.
- Prepare and distribute HR documents and communications.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
- Preparation of onboarding materials for new hires.
- Participate in new employee orientation sessions.
Training and Development:
- Assist with the organization and coordination of training sessions.
- Prepare training materials and resources.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Assist with event planning and execution for company events.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation of HR reports and metrics.
Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks and projects assigned by the HR team.
