Job Summary :
Plan, coordinate, and direct all tool room functions to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Pay Rate $28.20 -$37.39 / Hour
2nd Shift shift premium .50 / hour
3rd Shift Premium $1.00 / hour
Essential functions of the job :
Troubleshoot problems with injection molds.
Repair, fix and implement engineering changes of molds.
Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Make fixture details.
Communicate with outside vendors when outsourcing.
Work with various departments to implement customer concerns.
Ensure the effective implementation of TS 16949 standards.
Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.
Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.
Required Education :
Technical School
Equivalent work experience may also be considered for this position.
Required qualifications :
1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience with Mechanical or Process Engineering and Injection Molding.
Journeyman Toolmaker Certification.
1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
