Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

Qualifications:

• Medical scribe and medical assist experience (Required)
• Must be fluent in English & Chinese (Required)
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Computer savvy with fast typing speed, and multitasking.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Accompany the physician in the exam room to transcribe history and physical exam and document the note into the electronic medical record system in a timely and efficient manner.
• Transcribe patient orders including lab tests, imaging orders, and medications as directed by the physician
• Obtain basic patient clinic info, medications and prepare the patient for the exam.
• Phone calls to the patient as directed by the physician.
• Performing other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• medical scribe: 2 years (Required)
• Medical Assistant: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• Chinese (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
