Job Title: Manufacturing Production Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for tracking job progress through the manufacturing floor, gathering real-time status updates, and effectively communicating those updates to both internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and can drive alignment across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and chase status of work-in-progress jobs across the shop floor
- Communicate directly with production leads, supervisors, and technicians to gather up-to-date job details
- Maintain accurate, detailed notes and records of production progress
- Prepare and distribute status updates to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate and lead status meetings with internal teams and/or customers to review production schedules and milestones
- Identify bottlenecks or issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely delivery
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to tracking or communication processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Work Environment:
This position requires regular movement across the shop floor and interaction with multiple departments. It’s a hands-on role combining communication, coordination, and follow-through.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
