Title : Middle School Art Teacher
Job Description : The Middle School Art Teacher will be a full time teaching position. The teacher will be required to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and other assigned meetings. Other activities, planning, and coordination of curriculum will be expected.
Criteria :
A. Valid South Dakota Teaching Certificate w / an emphasis in K-12 art instruction.
B. Successful teaching experience and / or student teaching
C. Experience or background with technological applications in the classroom
D. Willingness to assist with student activities
E. Experience or background working with special needs students
F. Additional teaching endorsements in fine arts areas
G. Visionary, leadership, student centered
H. Team player
Coaching : The successful candidate may have an opportunity to assist in Extra-Curricular / Fine Arts Activities, as various openings in grades 6-12 may be available.
