Job Title: Kitchen and Cabinet Design Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Kitchen and Cabinet Design Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our kitchen and cabinetry projects. This role requires proficiency in managing job estimates, purchase orders, job costing, CAD drawings, inventory management, and the design of custom cabinets and kitchen layouts. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in cabinet and kitchen design, and the ability to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate Jobs: Accurately prepare and review job estimates for kitchen and cabinetry projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for.
• Purchase Orders: Manage the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and components.
• Job Costing: Monitor and manage job costs, ensuring that projects remain within budget and that any discrepancies are addressed proactively.
• CAD Drawings: Produce and review detailed CAD drawings for kitchen and cabinet layouts, ensuring design accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that materials are ordered in a timely manner and that stock is kept at optimal levels.
• Design Expertise: Apply proficiency in kitchen and cabinet design principles to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts. Ensure designs meet client needs and industry standards.
• Project Management: Coordinate all project-related activities, including schedules, team members, and vendor relations, to ensure efficient execution of projects.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide design recommendations, and keep them updated on project progress.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in kitchen and cabinet design, preferably in a project management or lead design role.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong understanding of job costing, purchase orders, and inventory management processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods specific to cabinetry and kitchen design.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
• Prior experience in the kitchen and bath industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $59,527.59 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
