We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Net New Sales Account Executive to drive new business in a highly coveted and high-value territory across the East Coast for the Commercial Enterprise team. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate New Business: Identify and engage with prospective Yardi commercial real estate accounts across the East Coast. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients by prospecting, networking, and managing intricate sales opportunities.
- Sales Process Management: Drive the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, ensuring a smooth process and strong client engagement throughout. Effectively communicate the value add and market differentiation Yardi provides aligning with prospect's business needs and challenges.
- Product Expertise & Consultative Selling: Utilize in-depth knowledge of our cutting-edge commercial real estate software solutions to demonstrate value to potential clients. Engage in consultative sales techniques to understand prospect challenges and position solutions accordingly.
- Account Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at C-level, VP, and Director levels within commercial real estate organizations.
- Target & Achieve Sales Quotas: Meet or exceed annual sales targets through successful deal closures. Leverage territory insights and data to prioritize opportunities and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales engineering, marketing, product, client services) to ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies, presentations, and solution delivery. Act as a key contributor in the development of go-to-market initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive landscape, and the evolving needs of the commercial real estate sector. Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast reports in CRM. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Success: A minimum of 3 years in B2B sales. Preferred at least 3 years in selling software solutions to commercial real estate or enterprise-level accounts.
- Industry Knowledge: Preferred understanding of the commercial real estate sector, its pain points, and how technology can drive business outcomes in property management, leasing, investment, and operations.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales quotas and achieve new business targets in a highly competitive market.
- Strong Network: Established relationships with senior decision-makers in commercial real estate organizations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to selling.
- Self-Starter & Results-Oriented: Ability to work independently, manage a large territory, and drive results with limited supervision.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfort using CRM tools, sales automation, and various communication platforms. A strong understanding of SaaS and cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
