Responsibilities:
- Manual Lathe will retrieve job paperwork and review detail of the job.
- Review/receive Seal Sheet from dis-assembly for part.
- Manual Lathe will determine if print supplied or need to draw print for part.
- Manual Lathe will design part for job.
- Process part on manual lathe machine.
- Other duties as assigned.
Willing to train individual who has the following knowledge:
- Familiar with conventional lathes/milling machines.
- Familiar with 3 and 4 jaw chucks.
- Familiar with OD and ID threading
- Able to read blueprints.
- Familiar with micrometers, close tolerances, and surface finishes.
- Familiar with machining cold rolled steel, bronze, cast iron, aluminum, and some heat-treated materials.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or 3-5 years of experience in a job shop environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Forklift
- Pallet jacks
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use and read tape measure and micrometers.
- Ability to handle (load, unload, transport) all types and sizes of raw material.
- Ability to identify raw material.
