Under general supervision, performs public contact work of moderate difficulty coordinating the administration of volunteer services groups and functions.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Coordinates the work of volunteers who are assigned to work in a specific program area.Participates in development and creation of community programs.Presents programs to community groups.Attends and participates in small and large group meetings of volunteer organizations.Reviews reports for public information; compiles statistics and other information; maintains records and files of program activities.Serves on committees and speaks with civic organizations.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Handle confidential matters and maintain discretion always.Act with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.Work Environment: The work environment is associated with an office and may require travel from site to site. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effective in-person and telephonically. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists.
