Full-time Live-in Nanny

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with children of various ages, and possess the skills necessary to create a positive atmosphere that promotes learning and development. This role requires a compassionate individual who can manage daily activities, ensure safety, and foster a loving environment for children.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
• Assist with homework or educational activities to promote learning.
• Implement routines for daily activities such as naps, meals, and outings.
• Provide first aid when necessary and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.

Skills

• Proven experience in babysitting or nannying, with references available upon request. (Beginner nannies with significant babysitting and/or daycare experience with references also accepted).
• Strong meal preparation skills to provide healthy options for children.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness in the home environment while caring for children.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and communicate effectively with parents.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in handling various situations that may arise while caring for children.
• Adaptability to live-in with the family you choose.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
