Career Development and Professional Training Opportunity

At Year Up United, we empower young adults to launch their careers through a one-year or less intensive job training program. This comprehensive program combines in-classroom skill development with access to internships and job placement services, ensuring our participants receive the support they need to succeed.

We take pride in providing our participants with personalized coaching and mentorship, along with an educational stipend to support their learning journey. Our unique approach prepares individuals for the workforce by equipping them with technical and professional skills that are highly valued by top organizations in the industry.

The program encompasses a range of in-depth classes, including Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Helpdesk/Desktop Support, Project Management Support, Banking & Customer Success, and Business Fundamentals. These diverse areas of study enable participants to develop a broad skill set, enhancing their employability and career prospects.

We also provide ongoing support and guidance to help participants launch their careers, which includes professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and more. During the internship phase, our students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week, further supporting their financial stability and independence.

In fact, 75% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of fifty-three thousand dollars per year, demonstrating the effectiveness of our program in setting our participants up for long-term success.
