**Year Up United Overview**
Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program designed to equip young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship.
The comprehensive program consists of technical and professional skills training, followed by an internship with top companies such as Bank of America, New York Life Insurance Company, and JPMorgan Chase in the Tampa Bay area.
To be eligible for Year Up United, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a high school graduate or GED recipient
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Be available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration
- Show high motivation to learn technical and professional skills
- Not have obtained a Bachelor's degree
Upon completing the program, participants will gain valuable skills including professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and ongoing support to help launch their careers. During the internship phase, students receive an educational stipend of $525 per week.
