We are seeking an experienced Science Curriculum Developer & Teacher Coach to join our team and play a key role in designing NGSS-aligned curriculum while supporting educators in effective implementation. Position Overview
As a Science Curriculum Developer & Teacher Coach , you will be responsible for designing NGSS-aligned science curricula and providing professional development for teachers to enhance their instructional practices. Your role will focus on developing engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world application of STEM concepts. Additionally, you will work closely with educators to provide training, resources, and ongoing support to ensure effective implementation in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development : Design and develop NGSS-aligned science curricula for elementary and / or middle school levels, incorporating hands-on, inquiry-based learning approaches.
- Teacher Coaching & Training : Provide professional development workshops, instructional coaching, and mentoring to support teachers in implementing best practices for science instruction.
- Resource Creation : Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that align with NGSS and support differentiated learning.
- Collaborative Support : Work closely with school leadership, educators, and stakeholders to tailor curriculum and training to the needs of students and teachers.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay current on best practices in science education, NGSS updates, and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance curriculum and teacher training.
