Summary
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking to fill a Painter position. This position will be responsible for performing skilled painting work such as the preparation, patching, finishing, and maintaining of interior and exterior surfaces for various buildings and facilities. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties :
- Prepare, paint, and maintain interior and exterior surfaces, furniture, and equipment on a regular basis.
- Perform skilled painting such as preparing, patching, applying finishes, and maintaining interior and exterior surfaces.
- Caulk walls, joints, floors, and holes.
- Load and unload equipment and safely transport equipment between sites.
- Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance checks and services per company policies and procedures..
- Knows and applies required company safety procedures.
Education and / or Experience :
High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in professional painting.
