Position : Floating Assistant Teacher
Location : Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center

What You'll Do :
Rotate between different classrooms, assisting with daily activities and lessons across all age groups, from infants to school-age children.
Provide support wherever needed, from leading small group activities to one-on-one mentoring, helping to manage classroom dynamics, and stepping in for lead teachers as required.
Contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment in every class you assist.
Engage with all children, building strong relationships and becoming a familiar, comforting presence in their day.
Collaborate closely with the entire teaching staff, offering flexibility and support across the center.

Requirements
Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs, the ability to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
Must be willing to learn and appreciation our core values which are : Collaboration, Innovation, Communication, Nurturing, Positivity & Fun!
Ensure all center and licensing requirements are maintained within the room / center at all times.
Must adhere to the DHHS guidelines for training.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must pass a Nebraska Child and Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check.
Must pass a background check and undergo the Nebraska State Patrol fingerprinting process.
Rate of pay is based on experience, position you are hired for and type of degree you have, if any and is not required.
